AFRIKA ZAINABU - NABU

Nabu is a very sweet natured girl who aims to please and wants to be underfoot every moment. I used this to my advantage when we began training and she excelled quickly with everything we tried. I liken her to an entertainer because when we are away at shows she keeps everyone laughing with her antics. She is fondly referred to as “Nablob” because of the way she throws herself on the floor for belly rubs.

AFRIKA CHIVA

Chiva joined the pack at 7 months and fit right in. She has very strong drive and eagerness to please so constantly needs to be challenged. I have been working her on stock in which she has excelled and in October 2013 Chiva became the first Boerboel to obtain a Junior Herding Dog (JHD) title. We plan to continue to compete in this venue while throwing in some obedience and perhaps agility.

Piet-Zyn-Drift SAMMY - ADAEZE

Adaeze is one of the smartest dogs I have ever owned and constantly needs to be challenged. She is very inquisitive and is often found searching the grounds for anything new or different. She has an outgoing personality and I sometimes think she is happiest when she creates the most havoc. Brains, Beauty and Brawn are how I would best describe her.

Kipenzi is quite a little rascal around the place. She is very much like her mother Adaeze in that she is always in to something. She's an endearing girl who does best with a job, once she understands the task she becomes the master. She has several accomplishments to include BN, RA, HCT, CGC and most recently a CM.

JK AMALI

Amali joined the Darkwater crew in December of 2012. She quickly fit right in and we started working on getting her ready to show. She entered the Rally ring in June just short of her 1 year birthday and placed in all three classes showing just how smart and eager to please she is. We also tried the Breed ring for the first time and she did very well considering neither one of us had a clue what we were doing. She took Best of Breed her third time in the ring. Her biggest accomplishment to date is winning Best of Breed in Orlando at the Eukanuba Championship. Her enthusiasm for everything she does exemplifies why I love this breed.
